Our Vision
From bedside to birth side, Tiffany's passion for childbirth has evolved. As a mother of five, and seasoned Labor and Delivery Nurse, she transitioned to becoming a Certified Birth/Postpartum Doula, aligning her purpose with holistic birth work.
Affectionately known as "Nurse Gert," a childhood nickname bestowed by her mother, she brings a fresh perspective to the ancient practice of doula care. With over two decades of experience as an RN and a CD, Nurse Gert empowers birthing individuals and their partners, especially those from underserved communities facing health disparities.
Having witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by low-income families during pregnancy and childbirth, Nurse Gert is dedicated to bridging the gap in maternal and infant well-being. She provides compassionate, culturally competent support throughout the entire birthing journey, advocating for her clients and ensuring their voices are heard. Her unique blend of nursing expertise and doula skills allows her to seamlessly navigate the clinical and emotional aspects of childbirth.
Our Mission
Nurse Gert Doula Support is committed to dismantling health disparities and improving birth outcomes for all. She actively engages in community outreach programs, educating expecting parents about their rights and the benefits of doula care. Her ultimate goal is to create a healthcare system where every family, regardless of their background, has access to the support and resources needed for a safe and fulfilling birth experience.
